In the world of stock photos, setting up a perfect recording is easy! We're going to show you how to achieve this look with what you have on hand, showing ideal framing and overall look.
How to set up your video
Turn your camera horizontal.
Place your camera at eye level.
Make sure your entire face fits in the frame.
Make sure your face is well lit! We want to see you clearly.
Make sure you have a clutter free background. But don’t put yourself against a wall, ideally there is depth to your shot

How to set up your audio
Quiet location is a must!
Avoid spaces with lots of echo, outdoor noises, or other loud distractions.
Turn off air conditioners, fans, heaters.
Sit in a chair with no wheels if possible (trust us).

How to record yourself
Press record on your device.
Smile, and WAIT 3 FULL SECONDS looking directly into camera. This gives plenty of room to edit around your video.
Begin your video looking directly into the camera. Try not to look around the room, it should feel like you are speaking directly to your audience.

Sending your video to an editor
After all that hard work, your video editors will want you to send your video with full resolution. Try WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive or other large file sharing softwares. Sharing iPhone to iPhone? Make sure both sender and recipient are on WiFi and use iMessage to send.
